Rare Downloads (Crawling on Bones, Rusty Water etc)
Crawling On Bones
01 - Tattoo 02 - In the sun 03 - Chemical 04 - Downtown 05 - Youthanasia 06 - History 07 - Ashes Everywhere 08 - Bed Of Nails 09 - Hang Around Here 10 - Speed Of Light 11 - Cracking Heart 12 - Exhausted 13 - Morning Star 14 - Invisible Hands 15 - Favorite Girl 16 - Cinderella Underglass 17 - Afraid To Feel 18 - Ski Or Snowboard 19 - Cocaine Blind
Ripped at 192 in MP3.. Some files aren't labeled, however all the ID3 tags are correct. Another point of interest.. "Youthanasia" is the spelling found on all tracklistings of the CD, I am unaware whether it was bad spelling somewhere high up in the chain, or if it is clever wordplay.

I'll post Rusty Water later, and hopefully that New Morning Paris Bootleg, I encourage others to post similar (unavailable) material in this thread too !
If they need removing, I've PM'd thelonelyastronaut (admin) a delete file link too.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post!!!
I wish I had something to share as well but you probably have everything I do. I just went through my collection and I think the only thing I could post in return (and that hasn't been shared on here recently) would be the RealWorld 'Live at the Gypsy Tea Room - 6.19.2000' promo CD. I think this would be allowed.
Can one of the admins confirm?

I actually don't have that many live things on my computer anymore, I have the New Morning gig I still plan to upload too.. But I'm pleased that someone found the upload useful
But I'm sure if it's okay with the admin - anything you upload will be really appreciated

Sorry the 'Live at the Gypsy Tea Room - 6.19.2000' promo CD can't be shared. It's not too hard to find on the Internet.
For example, there is a copy on Amazon

That was me with the Guest post... I forgot to log in. I guess you are correct about it being not too hard to get and that is probably why I have it
I would definitely recommend this recording. The version of Invisible Hands on here just makes me weep but that might be because this my favourite JA favourite.
There is a copy for 10 bucks US here:

And it is well worth it.

Thanks for sharing! It seems that track 7 (ashes everywhere) is missing. If someone could upload it that would be great.
Thanks in advance

what exactly is this "Crawling On Bones" album? When was it released, if at all?

It was an early incarnation of Come To Where I'm From. I remember Joseph saying that was the album title of the next release at WOMAD in 1999; he said it was Vacancy's big brother...or something like that. Not officially released, but occassionally available, as we find here.

This is a subject that I would love to get ot the bottom of but I think its a
little complicated becasue of a lack of clear information.
The CD known as Crawling on Bones and available by this thread is a bootleg made up of earlier recordings than those intended to form the CD that Joseph had intended to call Crawling on Bones.
The official Crawling on Bones was originally due to be released in September 1999 as the folow up to Vacancy (which fits in with your comment about what he said at WOMAD IN 1999). Artwork was created for it and appears on a French promo card produce for the release of Come to Where I'm From with a note indicating that this is not the finished artwork.
So far as I am aware the track listing for the proposed September 99 release has never been made public and I wonder if a final track listing was ever established as such because not long afterwards (December 99 in fact) Real World announced plans for the double CD Cockroach, which then got scaled down to a single CD, eventually appearing as Come to Where I'm From. Similarly an authentic track listing for Cockroach has also never been published.
Of course it is quite possible that the official Crawling on Bones and the double CD Cockroach are one and the same?
One day I'm sure Real World will issue the full Cockroach set as it was intended.
Mic

The original links are dead. If some kind soul would find it in their heart to repost I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks!
