Cut and Blind EP thanks for the link, but there's no way i'm shelling out over $60 for 4 songs. i was hoping someone would hook me up with some mp3 love as there's no real place to buy this for a reasonable price...

Re: Rare Downloads (Crawling on Bones, Rusty Water etc) Hi all--several years ago, Joe released some of the tracks from Let's Just Be as a free download on his site. I remember downloading them and not being very impressed, so I stupidly deleted the songs. A few months later, I bought Let's Just Be to see if the songs had been improved--my feelings are still mixed but over time I found many of the songs to be enjoyable (and Lack A Vision among his best) , but I would love to hear the downloadable tracks again to see if they too are growers. The official site still has the page up (http://www.josepharthur.com/av/letsjustbe.htm) but the songs appear to no longer be hosted. If it's allowed (and since LJB was later released, I'm not sure), would anybody mind sharing the 'demo' run of the record? Many thanks!

 EDIT: About as bad as I remember--needed more time in the studio. Temporary People was a far tighter and superior record; in fact, I would put it as Joe's second best after Come To Where I'm From. |
