• Joseph Arthur and the Lonely Astronauts, “Temporary People” (Lonely Astronaut Records/IODA). Reviewers of this Kent, Ohio band say it calls up memories of “Beggar’s Banquet” Stones and classic Replacements. I’m not sure about that, but it is rousing, energetic rock music. I wonder if Scott W. at the Union can get them down to Athens. They reputedly put on a crazy show.
