Killer's Knife
Crazy Rain (Lonely Astronaut Records)
2008

Wanna feel your heartbeat
On the ocean line
Wanna feel your heartbeat
Right next to mine

There's so many motions
To the dance we do
I regret my past
Without you

Oh, ah, you
'Til the night turns blue
Oh, ah, you
'Til the night turns blue
'Til the night turns blue

On the way to mercy
Followed by the dead
On the way to mercy
In the leper's head

In the after hours
And in the after life
As we bloom like flowers
Into the killer's knife
Into the killer's knife

Oh, ah, you
'Til the night turns blue
Oh, ah, you
'Til the night turns blue
'Til the night turns blue

             .....................................................................................................

First performed in Cleveland on 28 November 2004 with Joan Wasser on violin, then played a few times solo during the US spring tour in 2005.
The lyrics come from Joseph's poem 111704. Minneapolis.
The song was then known under the name Heartbeart and the lyrics had a few different lines :

Wanna feel your heartbeat
On the ocean line
Wanna feel your heartbeat
Next to mine

There's so many motions
In the dance we do
I regret my past
Without you

You, oh, you
'Til the night turns blue
You, oh, you
'Til the night turns blue

On the way to mercy
In the leper's head
I still feel you touch me
Followed by the dead

In the after hours
And in the after life
When we bloom like flowers
Into the killer's knife

You, oh, you
'Til the night turns blue
You, oh, you
'Til the night turns blue

I wanna feel your heartbeat
On the ocean line
I wanna feel your heartbeat
Right next to mine

There's so many miles
We push through
I regret my past
Without you

You, oh, you
'Til the night turns blue
You, oh, you
'Til the night turns blue
